HPCL gives orders to confidence petroleum

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation has given the orders for supply of LPG cylinders, to two units of Confidence Petroleum India. The value of the two orders would be Rs 36.64 crore.

The 2 units of Confidence petroleum that have bagged these orders are Khopoli Cylinder manufacturing unit and Andhra Cylinders, a unit of Envy Cylinders. Bazpur (Uttaranchal), Kalmeshwar (Nagpur) and Saoner (Nagpur) units of HPCL are also planning to give orders to Confidence Petroleum. The shares of this company were up by 7.92% to Rs. 18.40.

In the last one quarter the average daily volume of these shares was 11.81 lakh, and a whooping 4.67 lakh shares were traded on Monday with an intraday high of Rs. 18.75 along with a low of Rs. 17.80.

The year’s high for the stock is Rs. 27 on 11 Nov this year along with a low of Rs. 7.33 on Dec 22 last year. The stock had not been performing upto the expectations with a fall of over 35% in the last 30 days, when the Sensex had just gone down by 6.55%, and if the stock is to be compared vis-a-vis last year, it had outperformed the market with a 16.4% rise as against 3.77%.
