Bihar to have 1000 more schools promises Nitish Kumar
The latest prime minister of Bihar, who beat all the big names hands down in the recent elections of Bihar, is very serious about the state’s progress. He made an announcement on Friday, after a review of the human resources department at CM secretariat, that the state will soon have 1000 more schools and the grants given to the students will also be raised.
The allowances or grants will now be increased from Rs. 700 to Rs. 1000 for the girl students studying in class 9 to class 12 for the purpose of school dress, and for the purchase of cycles both boys and girls will receive 500 more than the previous year which will be Rs. 2500 as against Rs. 2000.
The school, for organizing the educational trip will get double the amount than what it used to get earlier, raised from Rs. 5000 to Rs. 10,000. An award by the name of `Chief Minister’s Medha Puraskar’ will be given to the children in top 10 positions of class 10 and 12.
The child to top the examination will be receiving an amount of Rs. 25000, which will be Rs. 10000 more than the other nine students’ reward.
